PHOTOS: Seahawks Host 'Taking Care Of You, Taking Care Of Others' Panel For Mental Health Awareness Month

The Seahawks hosted their 4th annual Women's Summit, uniting women and male allies for an afternoon of reflection and inspiration under the theme Empower50: Honoring the Past, Igniting the Future, in celebration of the Seahawks' 50th Season.

On February 19, ONYX, the Seahawks Black Employee Resource Group, in partnership with the DEI team, hosted its 2nd annual Black History Month celebration, 50 Years Strong: Celebrating Black Excellence & the Seahawks Legacy, at the Virginia Mason Athletic Center. The event brought employees and guests together for light bites, meaningful conversation, and a powerful panel discussion featuring Doug Baldwin, Mo Kelly, Mario Bailey, Paris Brown, and Ron Howard, followed by an audience Q&A, the Ed Goines Black Excellence Award presentation, and a reception honoring community, leadership, and the ongoing impact of Black excellence.

During our December 14th game, we celebrated this year's Happy Hour with the Hawks restaurants with a special moment recognizing the local businesses visited by our DEI team in 2025. Each restaurant — Seattle Fish Guys, Pasifika, My Little Restaurant, and Los Hernandez Tamales — was honored on stage at Ticketmaster Tailgate and presented with a custom Seahawks jersey as a thank-you for their partnership and impact in our community.

Linda Thompson Black was awarded the 2025 Inspire Change Changemaker award. She is a well known educational leader and community advocate whose lifelong dedication to equity and opportunity has transformed the lives of thousands of students and families. Currently serving as the United Negro College Fund's (UNCF) Pacific Northwest Area Development Director, Linda leads initiatives across Washington, Oregon, and Alaska that empower students to pursue higher education through scholarships, institutional support, and leadership development.

Fans explored the Intentionalist Marketplace in Ticketmaster Tailgate, featuring a curated lineup of local minority-owned small businesses. Guests browsed enamel jewelry from Magpie Mouse Studios, creative desserts from Puffy Pandy, aromatherapy body products from QueenCare, and delicious treats from Baked from the Hart.

Hosted in partnership with DEI, Seahawks Women's Association and SOAR Women's Employee Resource Group, the Women's Wellness Event brought together education on women's fertility and overall health, moments for connection and meditation, and onsite vendors raising awareness around wellness and the importance of regular breast exams.

The Seahawks visited local restaurants 'My Little Restaurant' and 'Los Hernandez' on October 15, 2025 in honor or Latino Heritage Month.

On Tuesday, September 16, we proudly joined the nationwide effort to empower civic participation during National Voter Registration Day—a nonpartisan holiday dedicated to helping eligible citizens register to vote and update their voter information. We welcomed the Institute for Common Power to support our players and staff in registering to vote. They also led our Rookies through a voter education session, emphasizing the power of every vote and the importance of being informed and active participants in our democracy.

On Sunday, June 29th, 2025, the Seahawks joined the annual Seattle Pride Parade with employees, Blue Thunder, and Dancers to celebrate inclusivity and love.

The Seattle Seahawks partnered with the Institute for Common Power to send members of their organization on the Truth and Purpose Learning Tour—a transformative, weeklong journey through the South to deepen their understanding of Black history in America. Participants visited historic sites and met Civil Rights leaders who helped shape the movement.

The Seahawks and Delta Air Lines honored Executive Director of Seattle PrideFest, Egan Orion, as the Delta Community Captain on June 7, 2025.

The Seahawks celebrated Women's History Month with a special Happy Hour with the Hawks at Seattle Fish Guys. Fans gathered for an afternoon of great food and special guest appearances by Seahawks Legend Bryan Walters and the Seahawks Dancers.
