The first episode of HBO's Hard Knocks following Seahawks training camp debuted on Tuesday evening and the episode detailed light-hearted conversations like Cooper Kupp being shocked by an invitation to Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce's wedding, to more important conversations like Nick Emmanwori ignoring outside noise and opinions about his healing ankle.

Episode 1 didn't dive too deep into any topics, mostly setting the scene of what this season will be for the Seahawks--coming off a Super Bowl win, how the team will look to be a new version of itself and the episode also focused on a few players who will likely be main characters in future episodes.

Here are some top highlights from episode 1:

Head coach Mike Macdonald uses the 1990s Chicago Bulls team as an example of what happens when the entire team starts playing as one and getting everyone involved. This messaging is essentially what Macdonald is talking about with his "12 as One" mentality.

Sam Darnold and Cooper Kupp resonate with LeBron James' decision to sign with the Philadelphia 76ers.

A conversation between Macdonald and Emmanwori is a great look at Macdonald's mindset when it comes to outside opinions. In this episode, Emmanwori tells Macdonald that he wants to be out at practice with his teammates, but he doesn't want the fans to see him in a boot.

Macdonald essentially says that outside noise doesn't matter and the most important thing is for Emmanwori to take care of what he needs to get healthy.

Here's what the media and fans are saying on social media:

Seahawks players participated in another training camp practice in front of the 12s on August 4 at the Virginia Mason Athletic Center.
