A daily link round-up of what's "out there" about your Seattle Seahawks.

!

Good morning, 12s.

Here's a look at what's "out there" for today - Wednesday, April 6 - about your Seattle Seahawks:

Mock Draft Central

Reviewing a few recent mock drafts from around the web, experts are pegging several different players to land in Seattle when the Seahawks use the No. 26 pick in the first round of this year's selection process, set to begin April 28 in Chicago.

Here's a look at the latest players draft analysts are predicting to see in Seahawks blue and green next season:

Mel Kiper, ESPN.com (Insider): CB Eli Apple, Ohio State

Analysis: I know the offensive line is a concern, but I don't think you can sacrifice talent for need here, especially when the reality is you're not being realistic if you think there's an immediate upgrade at left tackle to be found here. Apple has major upside as a physical cornerback with length. He'll fit right in.

Bucky Brooks, NFL.com: LB Noah Spence, Eastern Kentucky

Analysis: After losing Bruce Irvin in free agency, the Seahawks could use another designated pass rusher to play a key role in their sub-packages.

Pete Prisco, CBSSports.com: DT Jarran Reed, Alabama

Analysis: They lost Brandon Mebane, so they could use a good inside player. They say they like their offensive line, so let's believe them.

Don Banks, SI.com: OL Cody Whitehair

Analysis: Whitehair is a versatile talent with experience at both guard and tackle, and he plays with the tenacity and toughness that Cable looks for. If you want to maximize your Russell Wilson Super Bowl window of opportunity, Seattle, it's time to spring for some improved pass protection.

Tweet Of The Day

Today's "Tweet of the Day" comes from former Eastern Washington and Oregon quarterback Vernon Adams, who's embracing comparisons to Seahawks quarterback Russell Wilson. Adams, who like Wilson measures 5-foot-11, will be available in the NFL Draft later this month.

More From Around The Web
