Wednesday Round-Up: Four Former Seahawks Included In Washington Sports Hall of Fame Class of 2017

Mike Holmgren, Dennis Erickson, Curt Warner and Gary Wright are among those included in the State of Washington Sports Hall of Fame Class of 2017.

Good afternoon, 12s.

Here's a look at what's "out there" for today - Wednesday, June 7 - about your Seattle Seahawks:

State of Washington's Sports Hall of Fame Class of 2017

Four Seahawks are included in the State of Washington Sports Hall of Fame class of 2017, according to a story in today's Tacoma News Tribune.

Former head coaches Mike Holmgren, who took the team to its first Super Bowl, and Dennis Erickson, an Everett native who had success in the college ranks, join running back Curt Warner, a member of the team's Ring of Honor, and Gary Wright, a former team executive who the press box at CenturyLink Field is now named after, as Seahawks representatives in the state of Washington's eight-person Hall of Fame class.

Former Sounders FC goalkeeper Kasey Keller, 1984 Olympic skiing gold medalist Debbie Armstrong, former University of Washington Huskies running back Joe Steele, and former American Basketball Association standout Byron Beck also make up the 2017 class.

According to the News Tribune, Warner, Holmgren, Armstrong, Steele and Beck will be inducted on July 25 at Safeco Field before the Seattle Mariners' game against the Boston Red Sox; Keller and Wright will be honored at the Sounders' Aug. 20 game against Minnesota United FC; and Erickson will be recognized at Washington State University's Sept. 2 game against Montana State.

Social Posts Of The Day

Today's "Social Posts of the Day" come from Seahawks strong safety Kam Chanellor, who shares a couple photos on his Instagram account. One comes in front of Seattle's historic Fremont Troll, while the other comes in front of teammate Jimmy Graham's historic Army Beaver aircraft.

My first time seeing this Troll in person...
