The Seahawks' first practice report of Week 6 is out and most of it reflects what Seattle coach Pete Carroll relayed on the injury front during his Wednesday press conference. The one exception being rookie defensive end Frank Clark, who didn't come up in Carroll's press conference to open the game week but was held out of Wednesday's practice with a hamstring injury.
Running back Marshawn Lynch (hamstring) took part in Wednesday's workout on a limited basis with Carroll saying the goal being to get "Beast Mode" involved in full capacity by Thursday. Bobby Wagner did not participate with a pectoral injury he suffered in Week 5's loss to the Cincinnati Bengals. Carroll called Wagner's situation "day to day" and said the decision on whether or not to play the team's starting middle linebacker could go to game-time.
For the Carolina Panthers, who the Seahawks face this Sunday at CenturyLink Field, linebacker Luke Kuechly was a full participant. Kuechly, the NFL's leading tackler from a season ago who missed the Panthers' past three games with a concussion, also took part in practice on Tuesday - his first since early September, but the team was not required to release a practice report that day. Defensive end Jared Allen, the NFL's active sack leader (134.0) who already faced the Seahawks once this season as a member of the Chicago Bears, did not practice Wednesday with a back injury.
