The first practice report of Week 13 is out and five Seahawks players did not participate.
Fullback Will Tukuafu (concussion), wide receiver Paul Richardson (hamstring), cornerback Marcus Burley (ankle), defensive end Demarcus Dobbs (concussion), and defensive tackle Jordan Hill (toe) were non-participants for Seattle on Wednesday, while running back Marshawn Lynch (abdomen) has already been ruled out of this week's road game against the Minnesota Vikings after recently undergoing surgery.
Tukuafu and Dobbs, who suffered concussions in the team's Week 12 win over the Pittsburgh Steelers, are "making progress" and could return in time for Sunday's game, according to Seattle head coach Pete Carroll.
"Both those guys are making progress, they're not ruled out yet, so we'll see how that goes," Carroll said Wednesday. "Both guys have had good results from the testing that they've gone through."
On Monday, Carroll said he expected to see Richardson practice "at least" on a limited basis to start the week, but the wide receiver who's missed the past two games to injury was sidelined on Wednesday. Burley and Hill, meanwhile, did not practice after sustaining injuries against the Steelers.
A piece of positive injury news comes with cornerback Jeremy Lane, who saw extended time against the Steelers in his first game back since suffering arm and knee injuries in Super Bowl XLIX. Lane, who returned an interception 54 yards on a fake field goal play this past weekend, was a full participant at Wednesday's workout.
"He's a little stoved up from the game, but he's ready to go," Carroll said. "That's kind of normal."
