Vote Seahawks running back Marshawn Lynch for NFL Ground Player of the Year

Marshawn Lynch is one of three nominees for NFL Ground Player of the Year.

Seahawks running back Marshawn Lynch is one of three nominees for NFL Ground Player of the Year, and 12s can vote "Beast Mode" through Jan. 29.

Lynch, who was named NFL Ground Player of the Week for his Week 10 performance against the New York Giants and for his Week 16 outing against the Arizona Cardinals, finished the 2014 regular season with 1,306 yards on the ground. The total marks the fourth straight year with 1,200-plus rushing yards for Lynch. His 13 rushing touchdowns tied for the NFL lead and his 17 total touchdowns were most in the NFL among non-quarterbacks. He was named second-team All-Pro early Friday and received Pro Bowl honors last month.

"I think I've been saying it all year long, this is the best I've ever seen him," Seahawks head coach Pete Carroll said this week. "Most consistent and all that. And he carried it all the way through the whole schedule and did a great job."

Lynch is up against Pittsburgh Steelers running back Le'Veon Bell and Dallas Cowboys running back DeMarco Murray for the award. The winner will be announced at the fourth annual NFL Honors show, which is set to air Saturday, Jan. 31 - the night before Super Bowl XLIX.

Voting is also open for NFL Air Player of the Year. Green Bay Packers quarterback Aaron Rodgers, Indianapolis Colts quarterback Andrew Luck, and Pittsburgh Steelers quarterback Ben Roethlisberger are up for the honor.
