Tuesday Round-Up: Seahawks Safety Earl Thomas Mentoring NFL Draft Prospects

Seahawks safety Earl Thomas is helping prepare NFL Draft prospects for the next level.

Good afternoon, 12s.

Here's a look at what's "out there" for today — Tuesday, March 6 — about your Seattle Seahawks:

Thomas Mentoring Draft Prospects

Seahawks safety Earl Thomas is spending part of his offseason helping groom the next generation of NFL players.

In a video series through NFL Network, Thomas is helping coach up players in Dallas, TX., leading up to the NFL Draft, which is where the event is taking place this year (it was in Philadelphia in 2017). The prospects shown in the video — such as projected first-round picks Josh Rosen and Derwin James — are represented by Athletes First, Thomas' agency led by polished NFL agent David Mulugheta.

As you can see in the video embedded above, Thomas provides some tips to James on flipping his hips and keeping his eyes on point as a defensive back. The two also spend time together over dinner in the feature discussing the combine and the entire pre-draft process.

Added James: "He's done it at a high level, he's played on the biggest stages so why not get great advice from a guy that is everything you're trying to be?"

Social Post Of The Day

Today's "Social Post of the Day" comes from Seahawks linebacker K.J. Wright, who spent some time this week reading and educating kids in classrooms:
