Good afternoon, 12s.

Here's a look at what's "out there" for today — Tuesday, May 1 – about your Seattle Seahawks:

Rasheem Green, Alex McGough Join 710 ESPN Seattle

Days after being drafted by Seattle, Seahawks rookie defensive end Rasheem Green and quarterback Alex McGough were guests on 710 ESPN Seattle this week.

Among the many topics he discussed, Green talked about being drafted by the Seahawks and what his draft moment was like.

"Before the phone call, it was just like a weird feeling because I was sitting there holding my phone and I'm just waiting on a phone call," Green said on Danny, Dave and Moore. "Then that phone call came and the first thing I saw was a 425 (area code) and I knew it was the Seahawks and I was so happy because I'm not going to lie, the Seahawks were the team that I was hoping would pick me up."

Later in the day McGough was a guest on Bob, Groz and Tom and talked briefly about fellow rookie Shaquem Griffin, who McGough played against in college.

"We knew that I had to locate him on every play," McGough said of Griffin. "Another thing is how quick he is, how fast he is, how agile he is. He has the ability to play a slot receiver and then also beat your left tackle on a pass-rush move and sack the quarterback."
