Good morning, 12s.

Here's a look at what's "out there" for today - Tuesday, Feb. 10 - about your Seattle Seahawks:

Lofa Tatupu Returns, Kris Richard Promoted

The Seahawks filled four positions on their coaching staff yesterday when they promoted secondary coach Kris Richard to defensive coordinator, added Micheal Barrow as linebackers coach, Brennan Carroll as assistant offensive line coach, and Lofa Tatupu as assistant linebackers coach.

Seahawks fans should be familiar with Tatupu, who played six seasons in Seattle (2005-10), including one under current head coach Pete Carroll. A three-time Pro Bowler in the Pacific Northwest, Tatupu also played under Carroll as a member of the USC Trojans and is the only player in franchise history to lead the team in tackles for four straight seasons (2005-08).

From The GM

Seahawks general manager John Schneider joined 710 ESPN Seattle's "Brock and Salk" show this morning to discuss how the Seahawks are moving forward this offseason.

The outcome of Super Bowl XLIX, quarterback Russell Wilson, and running back Marshawn Lynch are talking points in the 25-minute segment that's embedded for you above.

Dan Quinn, Falcons Fill Out Coaching Staff

Former Seahawks defensive coordinator Dan Quinn, who took the head coaching job with the Atlanta Falcons after spending the past two seasons in Seattle, has filled out his coaching staff and it features a few former Seahawks.

Marquand Manuel, a defensive assistant for the Seahawks the past two years, joins the Falcons as secondary coach/senior defensive assistant. Chris Morgan, an assistant offensive line coach for the Seahawks this past season, heads to Atlanta as the team's offensive line coach. And Jeff Ulbrich joins the staff as linebackers coach after three seasons at UCLA. Ulbrich was a special teams assistant in Seattle from 2010-11.
