Avril A Top PFF Performer From Week 7

Seahawks defensive end Cliff Avril was named one of Pro Football Focus’ top performers from Week 7 after recording 2.5 sacks, four tackles, two pass deflections and six quarterback hits on Sunday Night Football against the Cardinals.

Here's why analyst Sam Monson put Avril seventh among his top-10 players:

Another defender from "Sunday Night Football" to make this list, Avril was always coming against the Cardinals. He had 2.5 sacks, two hits, five hurries and a batted pass, as he annihilated Cardinals RT D.J. Humphries for the most part while making the occasional cameo in the lowlight reels of TE Jermaine Gresham and RG Earl Watford.
