Steve Largent: A Football Life

At 6 p.m. PT this Friday, Oct. 23, *NFL Network will premiere Steve Largent: A Football Life,* an hour-long documentary that takes an on-the-field and off-the-field look at former Seahawks wide receiver Steve Largent and his Pro Football Hall of Fame career. Produced by NFL Films, the special features interviews with Largent, his family members, former teammates, coaches, and opponents.

Here's what 12s can expect to see in Friday's documentary:

Largent, nicknamed Yoda, played football at the University of Tulsa and was selected in the fourth round of the1976 NFL Draft by the Houston Oilers. After being released by the Oilers, Largent joined his former college offensive coordinator Jerry Rhome with the Seattle Seahawks where he flourished, breaking every major receiving record. His perseverance and dedication translated off of the field and inspired him to pursue a political career in Congress.
