Seattle Seahawks Wide Receiver Doug Baldwin Reviews The 2015 Regular Season

Seahawks wideout Doug Baldwin shares thoughts on how the team's 2015 regular season unfolded.

As the Seattle Seahawks ready for this weekend's wild-card playoff matchup with the Vikings in Minnesota, wide receiver Doug Baldwin took to his Facebook page on Tuesday, the players' day off, to share his thoughts on how the 2015 regular season unfolded.

Here's what Baldwin had to say in his season-end review:

Well, we made it. Through all this seasons challenges, we forged together and made it through them and now we are on our way to the playoffs for a fourth consecutive year. Here are my thoughts on our three phases.

Special Teams:

It wasn't always pretty or clean but our special teams unit always came through when we needed to. The addition of Tyler Lockett and the consistency of our coverage units has turned this phase into a game changing weapon for our team.

Defense:

In my Mid-Season Review, I commented on how well our defense was playing despite our 4-4 record at the time. Our defense holds a 26-game streak of preventing a rusher from reaching 100 yards. They have also led the league in scoring defense four years straight. This is not only historical, but legendary.

Offense:

The revolution was televised. Although we struggled through a ton of adversity, we also overcame the most. We lost some of our top weapons in Marshawn, Rawls, and Jimmy to injury but found a way to persevere. Led by our great coaching staff in Darrell Bevell and Tom Cable, we ended up as the most efficient offense in the league.. Again.

With that being said, none of it matters. Football is a 'what have you done for me lately' business and sport. We have another opportunity to play the game we love. And as always, we will make the best of our opportunities!
