Seattle Seahawks Running Back Marshawn Lynch Scores First Touchdown of 2015

Seahawks running back Marshawn Lynch scored on a 1-yard run in the second quarter against the Carolina Panthers.

Marshawn Lynch's first touchdown of 2015 staked his team a lead and helped him climb in the Seahawks record books at the same time.

The running back scored on a 1-yard run to give Seattle a 10-7 lead over the Carolina Panthers in the second quarter of Sunday's Week 6 game at CenturyLink Field, a trip to the end zone that gave Lynch 63 total touchdowns in a Seahawks uniform. With the score, "Beast Mode" moves past former Seahawks running back Curt Warner for third on Seattle's total touchdowns list, behind only former wide receiver Steve Largent (101) and former running back Shaun Alexander (112).

The touchdown was also Lynch's 55th rushing score for the Seahawks, tying him with Warner for second on Seattle's all-time list. Alexander is first with 100.

Seattle's own Sir Mix-a-Lot raises the 12 Flag in front of a LOUD crowd at CenturyLink Field.
