Seattle Seahawks Fall To Arizona Cardinals 34-31

The Seahawks suffered their first home loss of the season Saturday and fell to 9-5-1.

*SEATTLE, Wash. — *The Seahawks' undefeated streak at home in the 2016 regular season came to an end Saturday following a 34-31 loss the Arizona Cardinals at CenturyLink Field. The loss prevented the Seahawks from claiming its fourth undefeated home record in franchise story, and would've been the team's first since 2012.

With the game tied at 31 with roughly a minute to go, Cardinals quarterback Carson Palmer led Arizona on a game-winning eight-play, 50-yard drive that resulted in a field goal as time expired from kicker Chandler Catanzaro. Palmer finished the game 16 of 26 and threw for 284 yards and a touchdown on the day.

The Seahawks had an opportunity to make the score 32-31 with 1:05 left after Seahawks quarterback Russell Wilson tossed a five-yard touchdown pass to Paul Richardson, but an extra point attempt from Steven Hauschka missed left.

Wilson went 29 of 45 and passed for 350 yards and four touchdowns, including three in the fourth quarter. Seahawks wide receiver Doug Baldwin was on the receiving end of one of Wilson's touchdowns for 42 yards and finished with 13 catches on 19 targets for 171 yards.

Seattle fell to 9-5-1 on the year and will conclude the regular season at Levi's Stadium next weekend against the San Francisco 49ers.
