The Seahawks waived offensive tackle Isaiah Battle Wednesday, making room on the 53-man roster for Duane Brown, who was acquired this week in a trade with the Houston Texans.
Battle, 24, came to Seattle in a trade with Kansas City as part of the moves to establish a 53-man roster prior to the start of the season, with the Seahawks sending a seventh-round pick to the Chiefs. Battle, who played collegiately at Clemson and previously played for the St. Louis and Los Angeles Rams, was inactive for Seattle's first seven games.
