For a player who's played six positions on the practice field for the Seahawks, it's fitting the chorus to one of his favorite pregame tracks chants, "I got six jobs, I don't get tired!"
It's a line from Baton Rouge-based rapper Kevin Gates' hit *I Don't Get Tired, *and it's the perfect ballad for second-year pro B.J. Daniels.
He was promoted from the Seahawks' practice squad to the 53-man roster earlier this week after wide receiver Paul Richardson (knee) was placed on season-ending injured reserve. Seattle head coach Pete Carroll announced the move during a meeting with the media, noting Daniels has worked at cornerback, safety, running back, wide receiver, kick returner, and his natural quarterback spot in practice.
"All of that has just given him an opportunity to show us how valuable he is to us," said Carroll. "So we're really excited about that."
If active in Sunday's NFC Championship against the Green Bay Packers, Carroll said Daniels would work primarily on special teams and provide an emergency option at quarterback, running back, and wide receiver.
"That is a lot of stuff," Carroll said.
