The Seahawks are welcoming back one starting safety to the lineup for their Week 4 game against the Chargers, with Julian Love returning to action after missing last week's game due to a calf injury.
Safety Ty Okada, however, will miss a fourth straight game due to a hamstring injury. Okada, who returned to practice this week, was questionable on Friday's injury report, but he's inactive, meaning Rodney Thomas II will again start in his place.
Also inactive after being listed as questionable is linebacker Chazz Surratt, who injured his calf in practice this week.
Cornerback Trevon Diggs is active, as expected, after being elevated from the practice squad, meaning the former All-Pro will make his Seahawks debut. Safety Maxen Hook, who was also elevated from the practice squad, is active as well for the second week in a row.
With running back Jadarian Price going on injured reserve on Saturday, Velus Jones Jr. was added to the active roster and will provide depth behind George Holani and Emanuel Wilson.
For the Chargers, standout safety Derwin James is inactive after being listed as questionable with a hamstring injury. Receiver Ladd McConkey, also questionable due to a foot injury, is active.
