Seahawks Sign TE Bryce Williams, Waive/Injured FB Malcolm Johnson

The Seahawks signed tight end Bryce Williams, one of several non-rookies who will be able to participate in this weekend's rookie minicamp.

The Seahawks made an addition at tight end, signing former East Carolina University standout Bryce Williams. Fullback Malcolm Johnson was waived/injured.

Williams, who is 6-foot-5, 260 pounds, went undrafted out of East Carolina last year, then signed with New England as an undrafted free agent. After being waived by the Patriots, Williams signed with Los Angeles as a member of the Rams' practice squad.

Because Williams did not play during the regular season, he will be eligible to participate in this weekend's rookie minicamp. Williams is one of several non-rookies who will participate in the minicamp along with quarterback Jake Heaps, receiver Kenny Lawler, linebacker Kache Palacio, defensive end Tylor Harris, center/guard Will Pericak and tight end Marcus Lucas.
