November signifies Salute to Service month across the NFL, with the Seahawks helping kick off the League's military appreciation efforts during their Week 9 win over the Buffalo Bills at CenturyLink Field. November 11, of course, marks Veterans Day in the United States, a day observed annually to honor military veterans who have served in America's Armed Forces.

"I don't know that we can ever give enough credit and enough awareness towards all of the gratitude that we owe to our veterans and the whole celebration of this day as a wonderful day," Seattle head coach Pete Carroll said on Friday. "We continue to always invite people to come out that represent and try to share what we have with them. We can't do enough. It's a big day."
