Seahawks RB Marshawn Lynch Dives Into End Zone Of Skittles On 'Conan'

The Seahawks running back joined late-night host Conan O'Brien on Monday.

Go ahead and add a giant tub full of Skittles to the list of things Marshawn Lynch has leapt into.

The Seahawks' running back who uses the colorful candy to calm his nerves and fuel his play on gameday was a guest on Monday's episode of 'Conan' with late-night host Conan O'Brien.

Toward the end of the interview, a curtain opened off stage unveiling a large container filled with Lynch's favorite candy. Conan handed Lynch a football and No. 24 jumped in the air and fell backward into the candy. Conan followed with a leap of his own.

Wearing an Oakland-themed 'Beast Mode' t-shirt, Lynch talked with Conan about his local plumbing adthe origins of his 'Beast Mode' nickname, his thoughts on retirement following the 2014 season, his much-talked about Media Day at Super Bowl XLIX, and about if he was surprised he didn't receive the football on the Seahawks' final play of February's big game that ended in an interception and sealed the win for the New England Patriots.

"Yeah, I was," Lynch replied. "But at the same time, I've been in this position before. I play a team sport. At the end of the day, I can't be mad at the situation. So I mean I'm good with it, though."

Lynch, known for capping long touchdown runs with a backflip into the endzone, pulled a similar stunt at Nickolodeon's inaugural Kids' Choice Sports Awards last year when his entrance included a tumble into a pool of the network's signature green slime. He also appeared on a 'Conan' segment ahead of Super Bowl XLIX, joining O'Brien and New England Patriots tight end Rob Gronkowski for a hilarious segment involving the video game Mortal Kombat X.
