"I think it's always been a holiday where you celebrate being thankful," Seattle cornerback Richard Sherman said at his Wednesday press conference. "You celebrate how thankful you are for the blessings you have and the opportunity you have to give back to others. I think that's something my parents have always emphasized and something I've always held close to the heart.
"Use Thanksgiving to make sure that you're thankful for everything you have," added Sherman, who also explained what Thanksgiving means to him in a post for The Players' Tribune. "You do your best to give back to those who have less than you."
