Seahawks Make Roster Move

The Seahawks added receiver Montario Hunter a day before the start of training camp and waived offensive tackle Lene Maiava.

The Seahawks made a roster move one day before the start of training camp, signing receiver Montario Hunter. Offensive tackle Lene Maiava was waived to make room on the 90-man roster.

Hunter, an undrafted rookie out of Division II Elizabeth City State in North Carolina, is listed at 5-foot-11, 192 pounds. Hunter appeared in nine games last season for the Vikings, starting six, catching 21 passes for 527 yards and five touchdowns, giving him highest yard-per-catch average (25.1) in country in Division II. Hunter had 16 catches for 377 yards and two scores in 2014. Hunter spent rookie minicamp with the New York Jets.

Maiava signed with the Seahawks in May as an undrafted free agent out of Arizona.
