The Seahawks made one roster move ahead of their Week 9 contest versus the 6-2 Baltimore Ravens. For the second consecutive week, the team is elevating veteran offensive tackle Jason Peters from the practice squad. Peters, a nine-time Pro Bowler and six-time All-Pro, played 26 snaps at right tackle in the win over the Cleveland Browns last week.

"This is a remarkable thing we're watching. This is one-in-a-million that you see a guy like this that can play at a high level," said head coach Pete Carroll about the 20-year veteran tackle. "He'll continue to be a factor for us."

Peters not only brings 20 years of high-level offensive line experience but has also proven to be a leader since joining the team earlier this year. "He's over the top. He's a fantastic guy with our guys. Right from day one when he walked in, he was standing with guys and talking about stuff and sharing his experiences," said coach Carroll. "He's very open to do that and I think that's a significant strength that he brings us, that he's willing to be a part of it. He's got good observations and perspectives and he's got good sense for what's going on. He's healthy."

The Seahawks will look to improve to 6-2 when they take on the Baltimore Ravens on Sunday, November 5 at M&T Bank Stadium.

The Seahawks made the trip to Baltimore on Friday, November 3 for their upcoming Week 9 matchup with the 6-2 Baltimore Ravens.
