Seahawks Defensive End Cliff Avril's 'Celebrity Family Feud' Appearance Set To Air July 3

Seahawks defensive end Cliff Avril is among 20 NFL players set to appear in a celebrity edition of the hit game show 'Family Feud'

Seahawks defensive end Cliff Avril is part of a 20-man group of NFL players set to appear in a special celebrity edition of Family Feud on July 3.

The hit game show from ABC will feature two separate showdowns, with Avril and four other NFC defenders, including the Carolina Panthers' Thomas Davis, Philadelphia Eagles' Malcolm Jenkins, New England Patriots' Terrance Knighton (who was a member of the Washington Redskins, an NFC club, when the show was filmed), and Arizona Cardinals' Tyrann Mathieu squaring off against five offensive players from the AFC. The second show will pit five offensive players from the NFC against five defenders from the AFC.

"I think the only way to prepare is by watching the show and having fun with it," Avril said in a short video previewing Sunday's episode. "Just enjoy the process and embrace this opportunity."

Up to $25,000 will be on the line in each of the two game shows with all the prize money going to charity.

All the action gets underway at 8 p.m. PT this Sunday. Here's a complete look at each show's competitors:
