Seahawks.com Media Combine Returns To VMAC Wednesday

For the second straight year, members of the local media will compete in the Seahawks.com media combine at the Virginia Mason Athletic Center.

NFL draft hopefuls will travel to Indianapolis next week for the NFL Scouting Combine where they'll be measured, interviewed and tested by teams ahead of April's draft. This week, however, some far less impressive test results will be posted when members of the local media take part in the second annual Seahawks.com Media Combine Wednesday at the Virginia Mason Athletic Center.

As last year’s combine showed, there should be plenty of laughs, spills and embarrassing moments when members of the print, radio and television media, as well as Sea Gals and Blitz, take part in drills such as the 40-yard dash, vertical leap and broad jump. The numbers won't be impressive, but it should be a good time.

And there are plenty of questions to be answered based off of last year's media combine, including: will Matt Mikolas, aka, "Slickhawk" make it through the 40 without falling this time? Will Liz Mathews wear shoes? What color bowtie will Danny O'Neil be wearing? Will everyone's hamstrings survive?

Fans of unintentional comedy can follow along on a livestream at Seahawks.com, beginning at 11 a.m. and hosted by former Seahawks safety Jordan Babineaux. We'll also post photos, video and results on Seahawks.com throughout the week.

The Seahawks hosted the Inaugural Media Combine at VMAC, with media members, Sea Gals and Blitz competing against each other in six different skill drills.
