The Seahawks hosted the Inaugural Media Combine at VMAC, with media members, Sea Gals and Blitz competing against each other in six different skill drills.
The inaugural Seahawks.com Media Combine went off at Renton's Virginia Mason Athletic on Monday without anyone sustaining any major physical injuries, though a few may have suffered a bit of emotional and psychological trauma.
The event, held on the heels of the NFL Combine at Indianapolis' Lucas Oil Stadium, brought 24 media members from radio, television, newspaper, and online platforms together for six total events.
Each participant ran the 40-yard dash, the shuttle run, and the 3-cone drill and took part in the broad jump, the vertical jump, and 'The Gauntlet,' a wide receiver-specific workout that tests one's ability to make a series of catches while changing direction on the run.
