The Seahawks are heading back to the playoffs. Sunday's 30-24 win over the Carolina Panthers, along with the Dallas Cowboys' 44-21 win over the LA Rams, clinched the Seahawks their seventh playoff appearance in eight years dating back to 2012, and eighth in 10 years since Pete Carroll and John Schneider were hired in 2010.
While the opponent and seed are yet to be determined, the Seahawks control their own destiny. Two wins in their final two games would secure a NFC West championship, and one of the top two spots in the NFC, resulting in a bye.
