Seahawks Announce Fan Activities for November 29

Fans invited to participate in annual Toys for Tots drive.

RENTON, Wash. - The Seattle Seahawks announced today fan activities for the Seahawks vs. Steelers game at CenturyLink Field on Sunday, November 29. Kickoff is scheduled for 1:25 p.m. and all gates open at 10 a.m. Boeing is the gameday sponsor and will provide a special edition flag to the first 44,000 fans to arrive at the stadium.

The Seahawks and U.S. Marine Corps Reserve Toys for Tots Foundation will have representatives at CenturyLink Field for the annual toy drive. Volunteers will be collecting new and unwrapped toys or cash donations. Fans are encouraged to drop off their donations at one of two Bekins Northwest trucks which will be located on the north and south ends of Occidental Avenue South or at any Edward Jones branch through December 11. *A map of gameday drop off locations can be found at Seahawks.com/gameday. *

Volunteers from Treehouse will be distributing the Seahawks Gameday Magazine for $5 as part of the Spirit of 12 Partners program. All proceeds raised will be matched 100% by the Paul G. Allen Family Foundation.

Throughout the game, the Seahawks will celebrate youth who have pledged to play 60 minutes a day and stay active. 12 PLAY 60 Ambassadors will join the team on the sideline during pregame introductions.The youth ambassadors were selected due to their commitment to being healthy through programs like NFL Flag Football, NFL Punt, Pass & Kick (PP&K), PLAY 60 Challenge and Fuel Up to Play 60 - a program focusing on nutritional education and healthy eating habits for youth. The program is a part of the PLAY 60 umbrella and is supported by the Seahawks and the Washington State Dairy Council. The Seahawks will also recognize the 40 regional finalists from the NFL PP&K program.

Seattle native and contestant on season eight of NBC's The Voice, Kimberly Nichole will perform the national anthem. Immediately following the national anthem, The Boeing Company will perform a flyover with the 747-8 Spirit of 12s freighter which features joint Seahawks and Boeing colors. The flyover is subject to weather conditions.

During halftime, Q13 FOX sports director Aaron Levine and Seahawks Legend Jordan Babineaux will be reporting from the Seahawks Sports Desk. They will recap the first half and share highlights of other NFL games.

American Family Insurance Touchdown City, located in the CenturyLink Field Event Center, is free and opens at 10 a.m. Seahawks Legend and honorary co-captain Eugene Robinson will be signing autographs starting at 11:30 a.m. at the American Family Insurance Legends Experience. The local bandSonic Funk Orchestrawill perform disco and funk music on the main stage from11:20-11:50 a.m. and from
12:20-12:50p.m.

  • 710 ESPN featuring live reports and pregame analysis
  • Season long food and beverage specials including $5 beers and $3 hot dogs

The team's #12sCam will stream live video of fans from Touchdown City from 10 a.m. - 1 p.m. The #12sCam captures the mood and excitement of gameday and provides a platform for fans to share messages, cheers and shout-outs to players, coaches, family and friends.

The bandCurb Appealwill performrock musicon the outdoor stage located at the northwest entrance to the stadium from 11-11:35 a.m. and from 11:45 a.m.-12:15 p.m.Mycle Wastmanwill perform soul and R&B music in the Brougham Beer Hall from 11:45 a.m.-12:45 p.m.

Fans are encouraged to check-in to CenturyLink Field on Facebook and tweet their gameday photos to @12s, an account curated by the Seahawks, using the hashtag #GoHawks.
