Seahawks 2015 Preseason Schedule Announced

The NFL today announced the Seahawks' 2015 preseason schedule, and it's an all-AFC West affair.

Seattle will open the preseason at home against the Denver Broncos (Aug. 13-16), hit the road for games against the Kansas City Chiefs (Aug. 20-23) and San Diego Chargers (Aug. 29), and wrap things up at CenturyLink Field against a familiar exhibition foe in the Oakland Raiders (Sept. 3-4), marking the 10th consecutive year that the Seahawks' preseason finale will come against the Silver and Black.

With the exception of the Seahawks' third preseason game against the Chargers, which kicks off at 5 p.m. PT on Aug. 29 with national television coverage on CBS, the exact dates and times of each contest will be determined later this month. Q13 FOX (channel 13 in Seattle) will broadcast the Seahawks' preseason games against the Broncos, Chiefs, and Raiders and each game will air on the team's flagship radio station 710 ESPN Seattle.

Last year, the Seahawks finished the preseason with a 2-2 record in games against the Broncos, Chargers, Chicago Bears, and Raiders. Prior to 2014, Seattle had won nine straight preseason games dating back to 2011, a stretch that included undefeated slates in 2012 - the year the club went on to win its first road playoff game since 1983, and 2013 - the year the club went on to win its first Super Bowl in franchise history.

Seattle's regular-season schedule is expected to be released in the coming weeks. But remember, the team's 2015 regular-season opponents have already been determined.

At home, the Seahawks will meet the NFC West rival Arizona Cardinals, San Francisco 49ers, and St. Louis Rams, as well as the Bears, Carolina Panthers, Cleveland Browns, Detroit Lions, and Pittsburgh Steelers.

On the road, Seattle will play three games against its division rivals, as well as games against the Baltimore Ravens, Cincinnati Bengals, Dallas Cowboys, Green Bay Packers, and Minnesota Vikings.
