Richard Sherman and Frank Clark Among Seahawks Not Expected to Play

The Seahawks will be without seven cornerbacks for tonight's game in Kansas City.

Seahawks cornerback Richard Sherman returned to practice after missing last week's preseason opener with a hip flexor injury, but he is not expected to play in tonight's game at Kansas City. Also among the list of players not expected to suit up is rookie defensive end Frank Clark, who is dealing with an ankle injury.

The Seahawks are expected to be down seven cornerbacks, which should make for a busy day for those who do suit up. Expected to be available are Cary Williams, Tye Smith, Douglas McNeil III, Keelan Johnson and Jeremy Crayton. Safety DeShawn Shead can also play corner, so you might see him factor in there as well.

Here's the full list: S Keenan Lambert, QB Tarvaris Jackson, WR Paul Richardson, WR Chris Matthews, CB Jeremy Lane, CB Will Blackmon, CB Richard Sherman, CB Tharold Simon, CB Marcus Burley, S Earl Thomas, S Ryan Murphy, CB Triston Wade, CB Mohammed Seisay, DE Frank Clark, T Jesse Davis, TE Cooper Helfet, DT David King, DT Jordan Hill.
