A look at some memorable moments in Seahawks history that occurred on Jan. 19:
2014: The Seahawks punch their ticket to Super Bowl XLVII by defeating the San Francisco 49ers 23-17 in the NFC Championship game at CenturyLink Field. The Seahawks don't take their first lead until Russell Wilson completes a 35-yard touchdown pass to Jermaine Kearse on a fourth-and-7 play in the fourth quarter, and it takes Richard Sherman's 'Immaculate Deflection' in the end zone that is intercepted by Malcolm Smith in the closing seconds to ice the outcome. Marshawn Lynch also runs for 109 yards, including a 40-yard touchdown, while Bobby Wagner has 15 tackles to pace the defensive effort.
2015: Construction began on the Toyota Fan Deck on the south deck at CenturyLink Field. Expansion added 1,000 padded seats and an exclusive fan experience.
1993:David Behring, son of owner Ken Behring, is named team president.
1999: Mike Sheppard is named quarterbacks coach on Mike Holmgren's staff.
