On This Date: Seahawks Open Training Camp In Kirkland For First Time

1986

The Seahawks open their 11th training camp, but the first at their new year-round facility in Kirkland on land leased from Northwest College. They had summered at Eastern Washington University in Cheney from 1976-85, and the team returned to EWU for training camp from 1997-2006.
