A look at some memorable moments in Seahawks history that occurred on Oct. 21:

1979: Steve Largent catches 55- and 45-yard touchdown passes from Jim Zorn and Cornell Webster returns a Keith Simpson-forced fumble 54 yards for a score in a 34-14 victory over the Houston Oilers at the Kingdome, kicking off a 5-1 run for the Seahawks. Mike Reinfelt, who would later become a senior vice president for the Seahawks, has an interception for the Oilers.

1984: Terry Jackson intercepts Glenn Dickey's pass in the end zone with 24 seconds remaining as the Seahawks hang on for a 28-24 victory over the Green Bay Packers at Milwaukee County Stadium. Dave Krieg passes for 310 yards, including touchdown passes to Steve Largent and rookie Daryl Turner. The victory is the second in what will become an eight-game winning streak.

1990: Norm Johnson kicks four field goals as the Seahawks defeat the Kansas City Chiefs 19-7 at the Kingdome. The Chiefs intercept Dave Krieg four times, but the Seahawks force and recover three Chiefs' fumbles.

2007: The Seahawks slap the Rams with a 33-6 loss in Seattle as Nate Burleson returns a kickoff 91 yards for a touchdown; Darryl Tapp has four sacks; Matt Hasselbeck throws a pair of TD passes to tight end Will Heller; Josh Brown kicks four field goals; and Marcus Trufant, Julian Peterson and Deon Grant intercept Marc Bulger passes.
