2000: Scot McCloughan is appointed director of college scouting. McCloughan would leave after the team's Super Bowl run in 2005 to become vice president of football operations and then general manager of the San Francisco 49ers. He returned to the Seahawks in 2010 as senior personnel executive and worked until 2014. He currently works as general manager of the Washington Redskins.
