A look at some memorable moments in Seahawks history that occurred on Jan. 20:
2010: John Schneider is named general manager. Schneider had worked for the Seahawks in 2000. After making more than more than 550 roster moves in his first 2½ years with the club, Schneider and coach Pete Carroll had a team that went 11-5 in 2012 and won the franchise's first road playoff game since 1983; captured the NFC Championship after going 13-3 and wining the Seahawks' first Super Bowl last season; and won another NFC title to return to the Super Bowl this season.
1976: Lloyd Nordstrom, spokesman for the majority owners of the team, dies of a heart attack while vacationing in Mexico.
2000: Gil Haskell is named offensive coordinator on Mike Holmgren's staff. Haskell replaces Mike Sherman, who leaves after one season to become head coach of the Packers.
