A look at some memorable moments in Seahawks history that occurred on Nov. 5:

1995: Joey Galloway returns a punt a club-record 89 yards for a touchdown to spark a 30-28 victory over the New York Giants at the Kingdome, as Todd Peterson kicks the game-winning field goal with 87 seconds to play. Brian Blades also catches two first-quarter TD passes from Rick Mirer, as the Seahawks snapped a four-game losing streak – and began a stretch where they win six times in seven games.

1978: Sherman Smith runs for 152 yards and two touchdowns and Jim Zorn throws two TD passes to Steve Largent, who has six receptions for 126 yards, as the Seahawks outlast Walter Payton and the Bears in Chicago. Payton has 109 rushing yards and a TD, but the Seahawks intercept Mike Phipps three times.

1989: Nesby Glasgow returns a fumble 38 yards for the first touchdown of the game, but the rest is pretty much all Chiefs in a 20-10 Kansas City victory at Arrowhead Stadium. The Seahawks have only 39 rushing yards and 126 passing yards, while Christian Okoye runs for 126 yards and a touchdown.

2000: Rian Lindell kicks a 48-yard field goal as time expires to give the Seahawks a 17-15 victory over the San Diego Chargers at Husky Stadium. The Seahawks generate just 128 yards of total offense, but Jon Kitna throws TD passes to Sean Dawkins and Christian Fauria.
