Nick Emmanwori & Tory Horton Inactive For Seahawks' Opener vs. Patriots

The Seahawks will be without both players who were listed as questionable for Wednesday’s opener against the New England Patriots.

Safety Nick Emmanwori and receiver Tory Horton, who were both listed as questionable, are inactive for the Seahawks' season-opener against the Patriots.

Emmanwori, who had ankle surgery prior to the start of camp, was limited in practice this week, as was Horton, who is dealing with a hamstring injury.

The Seahawks will also be without starting safety Ty Okada, who was ruled out on Tuesday due to a hamstring injury.

With Okada and Emmanwori both sidelined, the Seahawks signed safety AJ Finley off their practice squad and also elevated safety Rodney Thomas II from the practice squad. One of those two is expected to start in place of Okada.

Seattle's other practice squad elevation, running back Velus Jones Jr., is also active.

The Patriots will be without two players due to injury, running back TreVeyon Henderson and backup center Ben Brown.
