Monday Round-Up: John Clayton Lists His Favorite Free Agency Moves

The Seahawks adding running back Eddie Lacy is one of John Clayton's favorite moves in free agency this offseason.

Good morning, 12s.

Here's a look at what's "out there" for today — Monday, April 3 — about your Seattle Seahawks:

Clayton Lists His Favorite Free Agency Moves

ESPN NFL senior writer John Clayton revealed his favorite moves to date from teams in free agency this offseason.

Among his 14 players to make moves, Clayton included running back Eddie Lacy joining the Seahawks backfield. Lacy, who ran for over 1,100 yards in each of his first two seasons, signed with the team in mid-March and brings a physical presence to Seattle' running game. Clayton believes he is an ideal fit for the Seahawks:

*Lacy is the perfect addition to bring back the feel of the Marshawn Lynch BeastMode offense in Seattle. Lynch brought an identity to the Seahawks' franchise with a violent running style that put a little fear in defenders trying to tackle him. Coach Pete Carroll is going to let Lacy play at 245 pounds and try to knock over defenders. *
