LT Russell Okung Among Seahawks Not Expected to Play in San Diego

The list of Seahawks not expected to play in Saturday's preseason game at San Diego is mostly free of surprises, but the one unexpected name on the list is left tackle Russell Okung, who is being held out with a shoulder injury. Okung's absence, however, is being called precautionary by the Seahawks, and were this a regular season game, he likely would play.  Alvin Bailey is expected to start in his place.

The Seahawks erred on the side of caution last week with several cornerbacks, and as expected, Richard Sherman, Will Blackmon, Marcus Burley and Tharold Simon are all expected to play after being out last week.

Here's the full list: SS Keenan Lambert, QB Tarvaris Jackson, WR Paul Richardson, WR Chris Matthews, CB Jeremy Lane, FS Earl Thomas, SS Kam Chancellor, CB Triston wade, C/G Kristjan Sokoli, T Jesse Davis, T Russell Okung.

It's worth remembering that this is not an official list. Last week, Frank Clark was listed as not expected to play because of a sore ankle, but he ended up playing.
