Seahawks receiver Jaxon Smith-Njigba was nominated for the Ground Player of the Week, for the fourth time this season, for his performance in Week 14 vs. the Atlanta Falcons. Smith-Njigba had seven receptions for 92 yards and two touchdowns.

He also set the record for receiving yards in a player's first three seasons surpassing the 3,171 mark that was set by DK Metcalf. After Sunday's game, he currently sits at 3,186 receiving yards.

After the game, quarterback Sam Darnold said, "I think Jax is a really good player. Obviously, I give a lot of credit to those guys in Atlanta, especially their DBs. I felt like on tape just watching them, they're some of the best in the league. I just feel like Jax is a really good player. There's nothing much else to be said other than that."

Seahawks wide receiver Jaxon Smith-Njigba leads the NFL in receiving through eight weeks and was awarded the NFC Offensive Player of the Month in October for his standout performance. Check out the best photos of JSN's 2025 season so far.
