Seahawks receiver Jaxon Smith-Njigba was nominated for the Ground Player of the Week, for the third time this season, for his performance in Week 12 vs. the Tennessee Titans. Smith-Njigba had eight receptions for 167 yards and two touchdowns.

He also set the franchise record for single season receiving yards, surpassing DK Metcalf's 1,303 mark that was set in 2020. After Sunday's game, he currently sits at 1,313 receiving yards.

After the game, teammate Devon Witherspoon said, "I already knew he was going to be capable of doing stuff like this. I mean it's just hard to guard him. When he gets open, he's just so efficient in what he does and then he's got a like a great catch radius. So I'm just a fan watching just like y'all when he's out there. I be so happy and stuff like that because like I said, I remember a lot of people were saying stuff our rookie year, like he didn't put up the numbers and stuff and I'm like, 'Bro, trust you don't know what we got over here.' And then now he just able to shine a light on it. So, he's just doing his thing right now. Shout out to my brother. Keep doing your thing."

Seahawks players celebrate the eighth win of the season after defeating the Titans 30-24 on November 23, 2025.
