The Seahawks will be without starting linebacker Drake Thomas on Thursday, but Jaxon Smith-Njigba is good to go after injuring his ankle last weekend.

Receiver Jaxon Smith-Njigba was new to the injury report this week, coming out of last weekend's game with an ankle injury, but the reigning AP NFL Offensive Player of the Year is set to play in the Seahawks' Week 6 game at Denver.

Smith-Njigba, who was a full participant in practice on Wednesday, does not have a game status on the final injury report, meaning he is good to go. The same is true for defensive tackle Leonard Williams, who is playing through an ankle injury sustained in Seattle's Week 4 win over the Chargers.

"Those guys are ready to play," Seahawks coach Mike Macdonald said ahead of the team's trip to Denver. "Looked good."

The Seahawks will be without starting linebacker Drake Thomas, however, due to the ankle injury he sustained in Sunday's loss to the 49ers. The good news for Seattle is that they have another starting-caliber linebacker ready to take over in Tyrice Knight, who has started 14 games in his three-year career.

"T-Knight will step in," Macdonald said. "We're confident he'll play great, and the standard stays the same on defense. I know he's excited for the opportunity, and we're excited to see him play."

Macdonald said he does not yet know about Thomas' status beyond this week, but was impressed that the linebacker was able to return to Sunday's game and finish it with the injury.

"He's a tough cookie," Macdonald said. "I'll leave it at that, but tough guy."

In addition to Thomas, the Seahawks will also be without linebacker Chazz Surratt, who will miss a third straight game with a calf injury. Zach Charbonnet, who has returned to practice but is still on the physically unable to perform list, is also listed as out because the Seahawks will not be activating him for the game.

Asked about Charbonnet, who tore his ACL in January in Seattle's Divisional Round win over the 49ers, Macdonald said, "Zach looks great."

Macdonald went on to point out that it's pretty remarkable that there is even a conversation about how soon Charbonnet will be back considering he is only eight months removed from surgery last February.

"He looks tremendous," Macdonald said. "Again, working through it on how we're going to handle the situation. Right now, our focus is on playing a game; he's not playing in this game, so he's going to be cheering us on and we'll move forward. We're not even at nine months, guys. I don't know what kind of standard we're holding a guy to coming off a knee. It's pretty remarkable that we're even having this conversation."

The Seahawks will wear their throwback uniforms in back-to-back weeks starting in Week 6 at the Broncos. Take a close look at the uniform details.
