DK Metcalf turns 23 on Monday, December 14, and the rest of the Seahawks receivers planned his gift ahead of time.
In the Week 14 matchup between the New York Jets and the Seattle Seahawks, Russell Wilson floated a ball to the corner of the end zone. DK Metcalf, having shed his defender on a beautifully executed fade route, caught the ball for his 10th touchdown of the season.
After emerging from the tunnel, Metcalf jumped into the empty stands and took control of a broadcast camera, zooming in on his celebrating teammates. As he did so, Tyler Lockett held up a laminated birthday message from the receivers:

Although Metcalf was penalized for the camera stunt, he'll roll into year 23 knowing he has thoughtful teammates and a chance to relax on their dime.
