Dorial Green-Beckham To Seattle?
Bucky Brooks, a former NFL player and scout, is examining the best fits for some of this year's most high-profile draft prospects and he continued his content series yesterday with a look at wide receiver Dorial Green-Beckham.
Brooks lists the Seahawks as one of five teams - along with the San Francisco 49ers, Kansas City Chiefs, Baltimore Ravens, and Indianapolis Colts - that could grab the 6-foot-5, 237-pound wideout in the first round of the 2015 NFL Draft. Green-Beckham ran a 4.49-second 40-yard dash at the NFL Combine and has the type of ball skills teams covet in a No. 1 wide receiver. Brooks thinks Green-Beckham could grow into a Plaxico Burress-type playmaker and perennial Pro Bowler.
Green-Beckham does come with off-field baggage, though. He was dismissed from the Missouri Tigers' football program last April and transferred to Oklahoma as a result. NCAA transfer rules forced him to sit out this past season, meaning Green-Beckham last played competitive football in the fall of 2013.
On the Seahawks' potential first-round pick, Brooks writes, "The loss to the New England Patriots in Super Bowl XLIX exposed the Seahawks' lack of a WR1. Of course, Doug Baldwin and Jermaine Kearse would scoff at that suggestion, but the fact that Russell Wilson was forced to target a practice-squad call-up (Chris Matthews) in the biggest game of the year says a lot about the state of Seattle's receiving corps. Coach Pete Carroll and GM John Schneider would be wise to find a prototypical WR1 with the size to win against physical defenders on the outside. Most importantly, the Seahawks need a playmaker capable of attracting a double-team, to eliminate the extra defender in the box that opponents routinely use to counter Marshawn Lynch on the ground. With Green-Beckham's imposing presence and immense talent creating problems on the outside, he would serve as a dynamic chess piece for the Seahawks, bringing sizzle to an offense that missed it last year."

Today's "Tweet of the Day" comes from Seahawks fullback Derrick Coleman, who sees #TheDress as blue and black.
If you have no idea what Coleman's referring to, there's a good chance you didn't spend much time on the internet yesterday, when a single image polarized the social media world.
It's a simple image of a bodycon dress, and for whatever reason, some see the dress as blue with black lace and others see the dress as white with gold lace.
Seahawks offensive tackle Garry Gilliam tweeted he's in the white and gold camp and was eager to discover the science behind the two takes on the now infamous dress.
Thankfully, Adam Rogers at Wired.com explained it all right here and Buzzfeed.com caught up with the girl that saw the dress in person. Apparently, it's blue. What colors do you see?
