Friday Round-Up: Marshawn Lynch Joins Golden State Warriors NBA Championship Parade

A daily link round-up of what's "out there" about your Seattle Seahawks

!

Good morning, 12s.

Here's a look at what's "out there" for today - Friday, June 19 - about your Seattle Seahawks:

Marshawn Lynch Joins #WarriorsParade

Yes, Marshawn Lynch was in attendance at the team's mandatory minicamp this week. But as evidenced by some recent photo content making noise on Twitter, the Seahawks running back is already back in the Bay Area.

Lynch, who hails from Oakland, Calif., joined the Golden State Warriors on their NBA championship parade on Friday morning. He was spotted wearing a Golden State cap aboard the bus of Warriors power forward Draymond Green.

"This is huge for my city because you hear so much negative about it," Lynch told the Warriors' official YouTube channel. "I mean right now, to see the positivity coming out of it with this NBA championship is heartwarming for me."

The Warriors defeated the Cleveland Cavaliers, four games to two, in the NBA Finals earlier this week. The series win under first-year head coach Steve Kerr, who has some Seahawks ties of his own, marked the team's first championship in 40 years.

Tweet Of The Day

We'll keep the Lynch-theme going with our "Tweet of the Day" coming from No. 24. The "Beast Mode" running back informs 12s he'll be featured on tonight's episode of 'Tanked' on Animal Planet. The show recently built a customized aquarium for Lynch.
