Friday Round-Up: ESPN Ranks The 10 Best Games Of The 2017 Season

ESPN's John Clayton picked his 10 favorite games from the 2017 NFL schedule, which released on Thursday.

Good afternoon, 12s.

Here's a look at what's "out there" for today — Friday, April 21— about your Seattle Seahawks:

ESPN Ranks The 10 Best Games

For ESPN.com, senior writer John Clayton picked 10 games he's looking forward to watching the most in 2017.

The Seahawks' season opener, which comes on the road against Green Bay, made Clayton's list with it being a clash between two of the best teams in the league. The game checks in highly at No. 3 and Clayton says Eddie Lacy going up against his old team should intensify the matchup further.

"He's facing the team that didn't keep him around, while the Packers will still be figuring out how they can create a running game without him," Clayton wrote.

Some of the other notable games Clayton has in his list are the Week 7 matches between Atlanta and New England (a Super Bowl LI re-match) and AFC West rivals Kansas City and Oakland, along with the first two picks in the 2016 NFL Draft — Jared Goff and Carson Wentz — facing off in Week 14.
