Friday Round-Up: Christine Michael, Thomas Rawls Featured In ESPN's Backfield Duos Rankings

A daily link round-up of what's "out there" about the Seattle Seahawks.

Good morning, 12s.

Here's a look at what's "out there" for today —Friday, September 30 — about your Seattle Seahawks:

For ESPN Insider, Field Yates ranked the best running back duos across the league. Taking the top spots on the lists are Atlanta's Devonta Freeman and Tevin Coleman, Pittsburgh's Le'Veon Bell and DeAngelo Williams, and Tampa Bay's Doug Martin and Charles Sims.

Seattle's running back rotation includes Christine Michael, Thomas Rawls, former first-round pick C.J. Spiller, plus rookies Alex Collins and Zac Brooks. The combination of Michael and Rawls finished 12th in Yates' rankings:

Christine Michael and Thomas Rawls: Michael, who is averaging 5.2 yards per carry, has been one of the best backs in football so far this season. Rawls started sluggishly and is now dealing with "a little crack" in his left fibula, but I remain bullish on his contact strength and power between the tackles. The former undrafted free agent averaged 5.6 yards per carry in place of Marshawn Lynch in 2015.
