Frank Clark, DeShawn Shead Among Players Active For Seahawks at Cowboys

Two defensive starters listed as questionable, Frank Clark and Bradley McDougald, will play Sunday, while DeShawn Shead will make his 2017 debut.

ARLINGTON, Texas—Seahawks defensive end Frank Clark, who leads the team with 8.0 sacks, was a late addition to the injury report this week, being listed as questionable with a toe injury after being limited in Friday's practice.

That injury will not keep Clark from playing against the Dallas Cowboys, however, as he is active. Also active is cornerback DeShawn Shead, who was activated off the Physically Unable to Perform list on Saturday. This will be Shead's first game since tearing his ACL in Seattle's playoff loss at Atlanta more than 11 months ago. While Shead likely won't have a big role on defense immediately, expect him to see playing time on special teams.

Two other players listed as questionable, safety Bradley McDougald and tight end Nick Vannett, are also active.

The Seahawks are without two players due to injury, linebacker D.J. Alexander, who was ruled out Friday with a concussion, and defensive tackle Nazair Jones, who will miss a fourth straight game with an ankle injury.

Of note for the Cowboys, starting tackles Tyron Smith and La'el Collins, who were both listed as questionable Friday, are active. Starting cornerback Orlando Scandrick, who was also listed as questionable, is inactive due to a back injury.
