By the Numbers: Doug Baldwin Sets New Career Marks In 34-31 Loss To Cardinals

A look at 10 key numbers from the Seahawks' 34-31 loss to the Cardinals in Week 16.

The Seattle Seahawks fell to 9-5-1 on the season after losing 34-31 to the Arizona Cardinals at CenturyLink Field last Saturday. To recap notable player performances, team milestones and (of course) how the game played out, we compiled 10 numbers from the Week 16 contest:

.5

Seahawks defensive lineman Michael Bennett recorded a half sack against the Cardinals, moving him in to a tie for 10th place (Rocky Bernard) on Seattle's all-time sack list with 29.0.

1

Paul Richardson's five-yard touchdown with 1:22 remaining to tie the game at 31 was his first of the season and second of his career.

4

Bennett also delivered four hits to Cardinals quarterback Carson Palmer, his second-most in a game this season (five is the high).

Seahawks tight end Jimmy Graham scored his sixth touchdown of the season on a 37-yard pass from quarterback Russell Wilson. All six of his touchdowns have come at home, where he has posted 33 receptions and 486 yards.

9

Cornerback DeShawn Shead tied his season-high for tackles Saturday with nine.

10

Seahawks linebacker Bobby Wagner recorded 10 combined tackles, establishing Seattle's single-season record mark for tackles in a season with 155. That topped linebacker Terry Beeson's mark of 153 that was set in 1978. Additionally, Saturday was Wagner's ninth double-digit tackle game of the season.

36

Doug Baldwin's 42-yard touchdown in the fourth quarter gave him his 36th touchdown as a Seahawks player, which tied him for fourth on Seattle's all-time receiving touchdowns list with Daryl Turner. He is one more score away from tying Joey Galloway.

45

Wilson's 45 pass attempts and 350 yards on Saturday were career-highs, and his four touchdowns were a season-high. He also set single-season career-highs in attempts (514) and completions (334).

171

Baldwin posted a career-high 171 receiving yards against the Cardinals on a career-high 13 catches. His previous career-high was 164, a mark he set in Week 2 against the San Francisco 49ers. He also moved into fourth-place on Seattle's all-time receiving yards list with 4,910.

1,084

Baldwin now has 1,084 receiving yards on the season, a career-high and the second consecutive 1,000-yard season of his career. He became the fifth Seahawks player to post back-to-back 1,000-yard seasons in club history.
